The project involves the construction of 3 new detached houses with private gardens facing south-west. Each dwelling is completely independent. One finds oneself inside the entrance hall with cloakroom and service toilet. One immediately sees the staircase to the sleeping floor or to the technical basement on one side and the living area towards the patio garden. On the same level, moving westwards and reaching the large windows that are flush with the patio and garden outside, one can see the modernly furnished kitchen, living room and dining area. An open space composed of the living floor and outdoor patio garden. Ascending the first staircase, we reach the first floor where we find three lovely bedrooms, well lit and ventilated, and two bathrooms. Taking the stairs down from the living floor, one reaches a large technical room/laundry and local cellar. In the garden patio area it is possible to construct an infinity pool (to be defined later). It is planned to install a photovoltaic system on the flat roof in order to have electricity using good solar radiation and a renewable energy heat pump located in the basement technical floor, to heat and cool the house in the different seasons. In each house, the systems are managed completely independently. As the project progresses and is customised, it is possible for the client and architect to coordinate with each other in order to implement any customer requirements. The plot of land in question is located upstream of the historical centre of Cadro, which for some years now has been part of the districts of the City of Lugano. The elevated position of the land is extremely sunny all year round. A few metres downstream of the site, there are public transport stops, the elementary and kindergarten school centre, refreshments, a pharmacy and the underground collection of household waste.
